Vision

Our vision02

Acting for tomorrow

Accelerating the development of sustainable food to have a positive impact on the environment, the economy and society is at the heart of our vision. As a real demonstrator, the Agropole links innovators and stakeholders from field to fork.

Whether we are talking about water, soil preservation, new models for short circuits or alternatives to animal proteins, the agri-food sector has a notorious impact. However, new solutions, whether technological or a return to more ancestral practices, are moving too slowly in the industry.

In order to fill this development gap, the campus brings together innovators with farmers, processing professionals and service providers on a unique campus. All of this is embedded in strong sustainability values.

Together they develop and demonstrate new solutions to produce, process and distribute the sustainable food of tomorrow.

Nearly 14% of the world’s food production is thrown away before it reaches the consumer.

Run by the Agropole team, the campus promotes the awareness of tenants' and partners' activities, in particularly through the organization of events and the promotion of new solutions, thanks to a vast communication campaign aimed at consumers.

Acting for tomorrow is a dream that we all want to achieve. The agri-food sector as a whole has such a positive impact on our planet and our resources that it seemed to me essential that our family patrimony be a catalyst for greater sustainability.

Stéphane Fankhauser
Founder of Agropole

The challenges we will face are major and will require us to fundamentally rethink our vision of the world and our way of consuming. To do this, it is necessary to create a constructive dialogue between innovation and business. It is time to implement sustainable solutions, they exist.
